IE11 HTML Editor Unable to get property createRange when hitting enter in combobox.
When using IE11 and you try to do a return (enter) for a new line in the combo box you get an error:
Unable to get property 'createRange' of undefined or null reference.
Firefox works ok.
I read that createRange has been removed from IE11 with no backwards compatibility.
I also have a problem pasting information nothing gets "Pasted" Using IE11 in design view. I can paste in HTML but not in Design view.
RadEditor have an update fix?
QA Test Plan
We are moving away from Telerik so closing this out.
thanks for the update Cody - I can reopen this but we're moving away from telerik so I'm not sure when it will be addressed.
I found my issue now since I had some new installs work but then the issue still happening on the one I was describing.
The IFrame setting needs to be set instead of DIV to work. So IFRAME setting works however setting it to DIV and hitting "Enter" while in HTML mode you get this error.
To reproduce my latest problem which I resolved by setting to IFRAME do this:
Content Area Mode: DIV
Then go into the HTML editor and try to hit "Enter" to create new lines.
It works now in 18.104.22.168. problem not reproducible any more on IE 11, FF, Chrome or Safari (iOS)
Please be noted,
In IE, still some issue when trying to moving the editor pop-up window.
In IE8, noticed an issue when trying to rollback, editor frozen.
this has been resolved in 7.3.3
