SI: Page Setting Disable Page Option

Description

The option to disable a page is no longer available in the frontend in DNN 9, this feature is used when customers want to make a page that is used only for navigation purposes. To make room, we will need to move a setting from the Advanced, security screen (Allow Indexing) and move this to the S.E.O. tab (see 2 PageDetails- attachments for what is being added/moved).

Currently, this setting needs to be changed via the database.

Requirements Notes:

  • Relocate the "Allow Indexing" switch to the SEO tab in the page properties

  • In the More tab in the page properties, add the "Disable Page" switch under Security

do we have an ETA for the next release of DNN 9 that will cover this issue? I have sites waiting to launch based on this bug and will need to find a work around if the delay is going to be lengthy.
